Understanding the TV part of IPTV and the fact that it’s all about TV

Our vision at Industria has always been aligned towards offering a true television experience. Our primary criteria concerning user-interface are speed and simplicity. The new generation of our Zignal platform has a completely rewritten user-interface technology, solving these issues. We now face two new challenges, where we need to work closely with industry vendors on solutions. This is a) the IPTV channel zapping scenario and b) infrared communication speed between the set-top box and the remote control.

The birth of “TV 2.0”

Zignal Cloud is fully W3C standard compliant and now being architected as hosted services, fully extendible with rich API. Zignal Cloud comes with a library of extensions. The interesting part is that you can sign-up and use the platform fully free of charge. It’s not until your deployment has volume that subscription payments kick in.
