		<description>Gudjon;
I was very interested in your comments on the opportunities for IPTV in the Hospitality market. I'm the VP of Business and Product Development for a company call Resort Media Group in the USA. We have been developing Digital VOD systems for the Hospitality market since the mid-90's, but feel that IPTV is the answer for future growth of the market. I have looked at many IPTV systems and feel that most do not have the true scalability that is necessary for the hospitality industry. I would be very interested in learning more about your company and its IPTV products and
interest in the hospitality market. We have a great deal of potential business in the North American market and continue to look for the right partner fit.

Best regards,

<description>I strongly recommend this way of "reading"! I am amazed how much more time is now available exercising the brain after I discovered books in audio formats ;) Thanks for the tip Guðjón ;)

Here are few books I recommend reading or "reading", all are available in audio format except the two on top of the list:

"Images of Organization" for anyone with interest in management theory this book is a must read! The author looks at organizations through metaphors and each metaphor gives an interesting perspective and draws into light theories it builds on. Organization as a Brain metaphor gives an insight into where the Agile - ideology, originated in the Software Development industry, draws its roots.

http://www.amazon.com/Images-Organization-Gareth-Morgan/dp/1412939798/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&#38;s=books&#38;qid=1217082459&#38;sr=1-1

"Napoleon on project managment"
Great insight into the brilliance of Napoleon Bonaparte, turned my view of Napoleon 180 degrees. The book covers how he was able to join the people of France after the chaos and hard times under the Bourbon dynasty leading to the French revolution. How his leadership brought a civil code still in use today in many places around the world, were he introduced principles such as freedom of religion, separation of church and state and equality of all in the eyes of the law. Covers his downfall and what his methods have in common with todays Project Management.

"The consolations of philosophy"
Alain De Botton covers few basic dilemmas all humans encounter and compiles condensed text on how the greatest thinkers addressed those difficulties. Brings philosophy out of the ivory towers and into our daily lives.

http://www.amazon.com/Consolations-Philosophy-Alain-Botton/dp/0679779175/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&#38;s=books&#38;qid=1217082301&#38;sr=1-2

"Good to great"
For anyone with interest in what makes companies great. Jim Collins takes this question head on in a study were he identifies what characteristics great companies have that differentiates them from good companies.

http://www.amazon.com/Good-Great-Companies-Leap-Others/dp/0066620996/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&#38;s=books&#38;qid=1217082269&#38;sr=1-1

"Freakanomics"
Steven Levitt investigates the "hidden side of everything". Why do crack dealers live with their mothers? What caused the crime rate in NY to drop significantly in 1990s when experts acclaimed it would only get worse? Why did teachers cheat on behalf of their students? The answers are not what you might think.

Cheers

<description>crisis breeds innovation is a very interesting idea. Another effect of the hike in oil prices would be innovations in alternate fuel development. Though this was already happening it would definitely get a boost and sense of urgency.
What do you think?

<description>"make the TV experience better for people" is a really great thought.
Unlucky worlwide broadcasters are not greatly interested to the progress of the people, but mainly of their bank account.
In any case we must not forget that 2 billions of people has not enough to survive.

I discovered Industria today (yes, today) looking the web for "other" IpTv platforms. This because I think that IpTv could be -- as member of web applications -- a way to spread content exchange between human beings. Despite of this potentiality, the will of telco to squeeze money from this (further) lemon, brough the IpTV platforms prices (despite their intrinsic simple architectures), to grow and grow, forbidding the access to others.

May we hope for a better world ?
