In January we announced the launch of commercial availability of advanced TV entertainment services at Velocity1. Check their website, as this is a slick new communication and entertainment service provider in London, a company that is majority owned by the investment company Quintain.
Velocity1 is the first company to utilize our fully hosted Zignal environment where they can offer the full range of television programming for a low operational cost.
I would like to congratulate the management team at Quintain with the success of this deployment in addition for being true visionaries. Quintain is positioning itself as a driving force in the domestic broadband revolution by pioneering the UK’s first developer-led “fibre-to-the-home” network across its Wembley regeneration scheme in north London.

Velocity1 has the most advanced and fastest network in the UK and the first to offer speeds of 100Mb/s to residential customers by utilizing its fibre optic networking infrastructure.
Velocity1 works closely with property developers to pre-install advanced fibre-optic technology into new homes and offices throughout the UK. Over ten new sites across the UK are planned for launch in 2009 and 2010. We at Industria very much welcomes this development in the new year.
Despite financial crisis, new value needs to be created. It’s time for agility and new way of thinking. It’s time to think of the customer’s value proposition as the key driver. That’s where both Zignal comes into the picture and the agile thinking of the Industria deployment team.
