The world is full of changes
What we’re seeing in the television industry is that;
- … consumer behaviour gets more developed. They want more for less.
- caused by their Web 2.0 habits, experience and expectations
- … the service providers are facing cuts in budgets, but they still need to fulfil customers’ desires
- caused by the current global credit crunch
There are even more changes caused by the fact that the way we experience entertainment is constantly evolving.
We at Industria are very excited over playing an innovation role during these changes in the market.
Constant stream of innovation
This is one you can count on: our constant stream of innovation. We have worked out ways to dramatically lower the investments on TV services infrastructure while at the same time to opening up a larger market for our Zignal TV Portal product.
Industria and Amazon.com
We have now partnered with Amazon to allow us to utilize their vast web infrastructure.
This means that our customers will now be supported by the same technology infrastructure as Amazon uses for their own business. This allows us to offer our customers the same, high reliability as Amazon does to theirs.
Now that this has been achieved, we are definitely competitive with even the backhaul and infrastructure of some of the largest market players. We are in fact offering our customers the best of both worlds with Industria’s innovation and the Amazon infrastructure.
Upfront cost down to zero?
An intended consequence of this approach, is that we can do it all with no upfront cost for our customers, because we’re effectively using a true cost-sharing model that offers us almost a 100% economy of scale.
With our Media Portal offering, it has become much less expensive to get started with innovative TV media services. New service providers are able to get started using the Industria Zignal solution with no upfront licensing or investment costs. Even individuals will be able to build their own, or experience Zignal TV media offerings by signing up from our website.
Up until now, infrastructure costs have excluded a lot of potential players from the TV market, so lowering the cost of ownership will no doubt have a dramatic effect towards proliferation of service providers. Just think of all the possibilities!
Interesting in testing this with us?
If you are interested in joining-us for a Beta test, please let us at Industria know. We are very interested in joining forces with other innovators and enthusiasts for this journey. I look forward for hearing from you.
